Mystery thriller feature The Green Sea, directed by Randal Plunkett and starring Katharine Isabelle and Hazel Doupe will be released on all major platforms via VOD and digital platforms on July 13 across UK/Ireland and North America.
Close to Nothing At All received second place in the prestigious City of Salzburg Simon S. Film Award. The hard hitting drama, written and directed by Lisa Bröckl, has been selected for two festivals in April 2021 – it will screen at the Underground Cinema in Dun Laoghaire, and at the Montreal Independent Film Festival.
Meanwhile the multi-award-winning QED, directed by Amy-Joyce Hastings, is screening on RTE 2 on Monday 29th March, and will be available on the RTE Player until April 28th.
Her latest directorial outing Sign of The Times, recently screened at the Chicago Irish Film Festival, as well as its premiere as part of the Galway Film Centre’s One Minute Film Festival at the Fleadh last July, plus subsequent screenings in Miami and Los Angeles.

Amy-Joyce Hastings has had new headshots taken for 2019.
Amy-Joyce has just wrapped filming Close to Nothing At All on location in Salzburg, Austria. The film is written and directed by Lisa Bröckl, produced by Saskia Eder for FH Salzburg with cinematography by Patrick Kamalzadeh. The hard hitting drama stars Amy-Joyce Hastings as Ava Collins alongside her onscreen family – Alicia Gerrard as Ailis, Andrea Kelly as Niamh, and Bill Murphy as Seán – the Collins family – with German actor Wolf Danny Homann (Michael) rounding out the ensemble cast. It is expected for completion in June 2019.

This week, alongside her Film Venture partner Graham Cantwell, Amy-Joyce was on the judging panel for Miss Universe Ireland, culminating in the live show held at the Mansion House, Dublin last night.
Gráinne Gallanagh was crowned Miss Universe Ireland 2018, replacing Cailín Áine Ní Toibín. Brittany Mason, MUI Director presented the live show alongside James Patrice.
This year’s judging panel also included Evoke.ie Editor Sybil Mulcahy, model Alannah Beirne, Business Director Margaret Clandillon and leading fashion designer Umit Kutluk, who designed Amy-Joyce’s red carpet gown.
